We offer a mixture of appointments some of which can be booked ahead and others on the day itself. Appointments can be arranged by telephone and those patients wishing to book in advance to see a GP may find our online booking service, SystmOnline, beneficial. Further details, including how to register, can be found on the On-line Services page.
If there is more than one issue that you would like to discuss with the doctor then please ask for a 20 minute appointment. If you are unable to keep an appointment then please let us know as soon as possible, this will enable us to offer it to someone else.
It is sometimes appropriate that a doctor may be able to deal with your problem over the telephone rather than booking an appointment. This has been popular and many patients find this a helpful service, especially those who may have reduced mobility or little spare time. It can often save a visit to the Surgery, and the doctors are happy to provide advice in this way if possible. If you feel this would be of benefit to you in the future please ask the receptionist for a telephone consultation with a doctor.
When telephoning the Surgery to book an appointment, patients may be routinely asked whether the problem can be dealt with in a telephone consultation and, if so, details will be passed to the on-call duty doctor for that day who will telephone the patient back.
