We are now able to offer patients the opportunity to book appointments with a GP, order medication and access some of their medical records online. SystmOnline, which has been designed to be both secure and easy to use, provides an alternative way for patients to manage both their appointments and medication.
SystmOnline is available as an app, which can be used on Apple devices (iPhones and iPads) and on Android devices (mobile phones and tablets). The app can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store and from the Google Play Store.
Note: SystmOnline is only available from within the UK. You cannot access SystmOnline from abroad.
Registering For The Service.
Registration has to be made 'face to face' with a member of the reception team who will ask you to complete an application form and need to see some suitable identification. Two types of identification are required firstly, photo ID such as a passport or driving licence together with documentation (such as a bank statement or utility bill) confirming your current address.
The simplest form of identification is a photo driving licence, providing it quotes your current address.
A copy of your ID may be held electronically within your medical records.
On receipt of your identification the receptionist will be able to issue you with a user name and password.
If you do not have a passport or photo driving licence then other forms of identification are acceptable but it would be worth ringing a member of the reception team to check before visiting the surgery.
If you would like the option to be able to access some of your medical records then please take the time to read the following page on this website 'Accessing Records Online'.
