The Lakenham Patient Reference Group (PRG) is now up and running and we have sent out a number of newsletters to the core group of members asking for their feedback.

A PRG is a group of patients who have an interest in healthcare and the local community, with whom we can liaise from time to time to help give us a patient’s viewpoint as primary care develops in the future. The members will act as a ‘virtual’ group allowing us to contact them by email, which is both a quick and convenient way for them to provide their thoughts, views and feedback.

We are keen to increase the size of the group, making it as representative of our patients as possible and would be happy to hear from you if you feel you could help us. We are looking to recruit patients of all ages and from all different ethnic groups, whether they visit the surgery regularly with long term health conditions or less frequently.
